On October 5th, 1962, the world's most famous spy made his cinematic debut in dr. no. Over 60 years later, 007 remains a global icon. Today, we look beyond the tuxedos and gadgets to debate the evolution of the action hero, the changing standards of masculinity, and why we are so fascinated by characters who live outside the laws of normal society. Is James Bond a timeless hero, or a relic of a past that no longer exists?
