October 30th • Pranks & Rebellion
Mischief Night
Mischief Night (also known as Devil's Night or Goosey Night) is an informal holiday on October 30th, the night before Halloween. It is traditionally a time for children and teenagers to engage in pranks and minor vandalism. Today, we debate the fine line between harmless fun and criminal behavior, the psychology behind why we enjoy mischief, and how social boundaries are tested during such informal traditions.
