Name Yourself Day
The Psychology of Personal Branding. This lesson explores whether our names define us and if adults should have the right to reset their identity by choosing a new name that reflects who they actually are.
Speaking Discussion
- If you could rename yourself today, what name would you choose to represent your power?
- Do people with strong names (e.g., Victor, Grace) actually become stronger people?
- Is your online username more reflective of your true self than your legal name?
- Should parents be banned from giving their children ridiculous or unique names for social media attention?
- If you were a brand, what would your slogan be?

The Task: Your client is a boring accountant who wants to become a world-Class DJ. They need a New identity. Help them choose a New name, a New style, and a 3-Sentence origin story that makes them sound legendary. Explain the psychology behind your choices.
Activity 2: Rapid Fire Debate
Justify in 30 seconds: 1. 'Your name is the first cage society puts you in.' 2. 'Changing your name is the ultimate act of freedom.' 3. 'We should be allowed to change our legal name every 10 years to reflect our growth.'
