World Humanitarian Day

A day dedicated to recognising humanitarian personnel and those who have lost their lives working for humanitarian causes, providing life-saving support during conflicts and natural disasters.

  • Do you think wealthy countries do enough to help nations suffering from earthquakes and famine?
  • What skills would you need to have to work for a major disaster relief charity?
  • Have you ever donated money or supplies to a disaster relief fund?
  • How can ordinary people support global humanitarian efforts from their own homes?
