Int'l Day against Nuclear Tests
Established by the UN to increase awareness about the effects of nuclear weapon test explosions and the need for their cessation. Since 1945, over 2,000 nuclear tests have been conducted, leaving a long-term impact on the planet's environment and human health. Today, we debate the balance of nuclear deterrence, the ethics of high-tech weapons, and the road to a global nuclear-free future.
