National Cleavage Day
Launched in 2002 by Wonderbra in South Africa, National Cleavage Day was created to celebrate fashion, confidence, and to raise money for breast cancer research. While it was highly successful as a fundraiser, it also sparked intense debates about whether it empowered women or simply objectified them. This lesson explores fashion and philanthropy—is it possible to use attractiveness to raise money for a serious cause, or does it send the wrong message?
Speaking Discussion
