World Environment Day

An annual event dedicated to raising awareness about the urgent need to protect our planet and preserve its natural beauty for future generations. It serves as a global platform to highlight critical issues like pollution, climate change, and the loss of biodiversity. Beyond the environmental focus, the day encourages people in every community to take small, positive actions in their daily lives, emphasising that everyone has a role to play in building a more sustainable and greener future.

  • Should governments ban all single-use plastics immediately, even if it makes life more expensive?
  • If you could live in a completely "eco-friendly" city with no cars, would you miss the convenience of modern life?
  • Which is more important: economic growth or environmental protection? Can we have both?
  • How has your local environment changed in the last 10 years? (e.g., weather patterns, wildlife, pollution).
