World Goth Day

A day to celebrate the music, fashion, and art of the Goth subculture, and to make society more aware of the prejudice that alternative communities sometimes face.

  • Do you think society unfairly judges people who wear dark, unconventional clothing or lots of piercings?
  • Why do you think people find comfort in dark or sad music when they're going through a tough time?
  • Do you think the internet has killed subcultures by making everything trendy for five minutes, or is it actually helping them grow?

Activity 1: The Great Debate
