Past Simple
Dead and Buried Actions
The Past Simple is for talking about things that happened and are now dead and buried. It's the grammar of finished actions, completed events, and things you can't change no matter how much you regret them.
The Magic Formula (Simple as the Name Suggests):
Regular verbs: base verb + -ed
Irregular verbs: learn them or suffer
There's no escaping irregular verbs. They're like taxes - annoying but unavoidable.
