Day of the Girl Child

International Day of the Girl Child is an international observance day declared by the United Nations to support more opportunity for girls and increase awareness of gender inequality faced by girls worldwide. Today, we debate the importance of education for girls, the impact of gender stereotypes on career choices, and how society can better support the next generation of female leaders. Is the world truly becoming a fairer place for girls?
