International Dog Day

Founded in 2004 by animal advocate Colleen Paige, International Dog Day celebrates all dogs, mixed and purebred, while raising awareness about the number of dogs that need to be rescued. From working police dogs to family pets, dogs have been our companions for over 15,000 years. Today we're debating canine intelligence—are dogs truly our friends, or have they just evolved to manipulate our emotions for food? We explore 'Man's Best Friend'.
