Rules for English Lessons with Native UK
If you choose to study with me, I have three golden rules that I'd like you to agree to before we start. Nobody likes rules — especially Polish students! — but these help us work effectively together.
Our lesson starts at 7pm — you chose that time — so please be there on time.
I understand traffic can be a nightmare or your computer might decide to do a Windows update at the worst moment,
but please respect the time because someone else will usually be waiting for their lesson after yours.
I will wait 20 minutes before a lesson is marked as "done".
If something comes up, no problem — I understand.
But please don't tell me 30 minutes before the lesson.
Pay-as-you-go: cancel whenever you like — you pay a higher rate for this privilege.
4× lessons (once a week): cancel at least 12 hours before.
8× lessons (twice a week): cancel at least 6 hours before.
If you tell me within the correct time, payment simply moves forward.
If you don't, the lesson will be marked as "done".
I know you might feel nervous — it's normal — but remember why you're here.
You want to SPEAK English, so do it!
One-word answers are the worst.
This is your chance to speak. Nobody will laugh, judge, or criticise anything you say.
