What does it mean?
A bevvy (plural: bevvies) is British slang for an alcoholic drink, most commonly a beer. "Fancy a few bevvies after work?" is a standard social invitation. It’s a very informal and friendly word that is central to British pub culture and social life, representing the relaxed side of the UK.
