What does it mean?
In the UK, brilliant (often shortened to "brill") is the ultimate word for showing approval or excitement. It means "excellent," "wonderful," or "great." It’s used constantly in conversation: "I've passed my test!" "Brilliant!" It’s one of the most positive and versatile words in the British vocabulary.
